CBGBs was the birthplace of the New Wave of American music in the 1970’s, establishing bands like The Ramones, Television and Patti Smith, the club was a launch pad for two of the biggest bands of the 70s, 80s and 90s Blondie and Talking Heads.
Two great homegrown tribute bands – Heart Of Glass and Stop Talking Sense - return to the creative cauldron that made CBGBs famous, trawling the catalogue of hits and deeper cuts that made Blondie and Talking Heads regular players in the top tens of charts around the world. This 2 hour show (plus a 20 min interval) will take you back to the birth of American new wave.
